About International ATMO
Founded in 1977,
International ATMO is one of the most experienced and reputable providers of
hyperbaric medicine and wound care services. The leadership of ATMO includes
committee chairmen for the Undersea & Hyperbaric Medical Society (UHMS), and the
National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), a board member of the Baromedical
Nurses Association (BNA), and technical committee members of both the American
Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) and the NFPA. Three founders of ATMO have
held the office of UHMS President.
ATMO is known
throughout the world for providing the highest quality education in hyperbaric
medicine, hyperbaric safety, and wound care. ATMO has trained thousands of
physicians, nurses, and technologists.

Paul J
Sheffield, PhD, CAsP, CHT
President Dr.
Sheffield is one of the founders of International ATMO. He started his
career in hyperbaric medicine in 1965. He is Past President of the UHMS and
also Past President of the Aerospace Physiology Society. He has published
over 100 scientific papers, authored in several textbooks, and is the senior
editor of the Wound Care Practice textbook. He chairs the Education
Committee of the UHMS. |

James C.
Sheffield, BBA, CHT
Chief Financial Officer
Jim started his
career in hyperbaric medicine in 1979. His experience includes patient care,
wound center management, wound center implementation, marketing, and
reimbursement support. He serves on the ASME Committee on Pressure Vessels
for Human Occupancy. |

Kevin I. "Kip" Posey, CHT
Director of Development
Kip
started his career in hyperbaric medicine in 1980. His experience includes
patient care, wound center management, wound center implementation, and
marketing. He serves on the NFPA Technical Committee on Hyperbaric and
Hypobaric Facilities. |

Robert B. Sheffield, BA, CHT
Director of Education
Rob started his career in hyperbaric medicine
in 1985. His experience includes patient care, wound center management, and
wound center design & implementation. He is an expert in hyperbaric safety
and wound center reimbursement. He chairs the NFPA Technical Committee on
Hyperbaric and Hypobaric Facilities, and is past Chair of the UHMS Safety
Committee. |

Ann L. "Tina" Ziemba, RN, CHT, ACHRN
Director of Patient Care
Tina started her career in hyperbaric medicine in 1992. Her experience
includes patient care, wound center implementation, clinical support,
quality improvement, and UHMS & Joint Commission compliance. She is a
surveyor for the UHMS Hyperbaric Facility Accreditation Program and serves
as a board member of the Baromedical Nurses Association. |
